About
This foundational module introduces the living wisdom of yoga through the Himalayan Tradition, Śrī Vidyā, Sāṅkhya and the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali. It explores consciousness, the mind, suffering, habitual conditioning and the path toward greater clarity and freedom. Participants will study key philosophical concepts including Puruṣa, Prakṛti, the guṇas, kleśas, karma and the eight limbs of Yoga, alongside the role of prayer, mantra, meditation and self-enquiry. Grounded in embodied awareness and responsible practice, the module supports students in moving from habitual reaction toward discernment, curiosity and a more conscious relationship with daily life.
